Academic university staff
In 2025, the academic university staff is gender-balanced overall. Over the last 15 years, the proportion of women has increased most significantly in professorships and tenure track positions, only among senior scientists have they fallen. Three-quarters of the academic staff (more women than men) are in temporary positions. The work hours are influenced more by personnel category than by gender, still the full-time rate is higher for men than for women. The age structure reflects the large number of praedocs and student assistents.
